Worldcom Implodes, Application X Expands

PHILADELPHIA, PENN, Jul. 2, 2002 – (http://applicationx.net) Application X, one of the East coast’s fastest growing Internet services firms, opened the doors at their fourth location today, as Internet giant MCI Worldcom collapsed upon itself.

Application X’s newest facility, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, features state of the art security systems including proximity card access, biometric security, 24-by-7 manned security, closed circuit TV and a mantrap entrance. Power redundancy is supplied by AC/DC from two separate sub-stations and maintained by Liebert Series 600 Parallel Redundant UPS Systems and external generators.

Customer’s hosted in the newest facility will benefit from the blazing 100mbps connection to the Internet that is wired directly into the fiber heart of Philadelphia.
